AGAIN YOU HAVE TRUSTED ME

“Reeking of Longbeach blues, soaked in dark spirits and drowning in Stanley white wine lambrusco, ‘Again You Have Trusted Me’ is a new absurdist theatre-documentary from performance art powerhouse, Sarah Stafford. This gothic horror from the deep north blurs the lines between home video, absurdist clown, and sociopolitical commentary. Sarah’s camp and gritty storytelling keeps you wondering if this portrait of her working class family is reality TV, or just reality. The first development of this work was presented at Backbone Youth Arts in November 2019."

THE ARCHITECTS OF SOUND

"Hello, World Wide Web, and hello cultural  elite. Valencia Low-fi, Amara Mayfair and Sutro here. Together we are the ‘Architects of Sound’.
We do not make music, We are not musicians, we are Architects of Sound.

We are an established Brisbane-based alternative, electronic, existential band whose native, instrumental sound was forged in a West End garage during a fierce electrical storm in 2012.  Maintaining an anti-careerist, anti-music industry attitude, we rose to public recognition in early 2013 after a rare underground showcase of a compilation demo-tape went viral, garnering strong positive critical acclaim in numerous underground Brisbane music zines. Since then we have released our second debut Album, ‘The Holy Trinity’ (2016) which was  regarded for it’s minimalist, stripped-down vocal style, meditative and organic post-electro anthems and garage band loops.  But a new Architects era is among us. The album ‘ARTFAP’ is coming. We are cashing in on our queerness and we are coming for your latex.

Get ready, world x
